Uh-oh, Tess must be taking cortisone, because her face has blown up like a melon since we last saw her.

Holy…, that womans head is greatly out of proportion to her body.

Gertie continues to morph while Mr. Brozman figures out how to draw her.

I think I prefer the Tess that is featured today. Unfortunately, her looks will change on an almost daily basis.

Tess doesn’t look quite right, but everyone’s hands are much better.

Could all that gambling winnings be scrip?

Can’t agree on the hands (plural) being much better, with ONE exception, Tracy’s. Seeing it at “correct” SIZE literaly stuns you. It gave readers a wake up call I hope it gave Locher one too ?

I can ‘hear’ the conversation now …

“Hey Jim, don’t you think that Tracy’s hand is drawn way too large ?

“No Dick, it’s time to get rid of those little nostril diggers you have been foisting off on the public for years … look at Gertie’s hand which you penciled in. It looks like crab-claws clamped on, and squeezing the spoon”. …”And as Empty Williams would say Dick, ‘As a matter a fact’, no more ‘duckie’ memorials in the Sunday page”. Sorry, this is Dick Tracy not a Chapel in a Funeral home”!

I would never have believed that getting a new artist would result in the drawing getting WORSE.

But maybe this is just Brozman’s learning curve as he tries to reproduce this strip’s always strange style.
