We have just witnessed murder in the first degree, and Tracy and the cops are still standing around. A costumed character walks into a crime scene without being questioned or stopped and executes his lackey in front of them all.
WOW! There is actually a puddle of some liquid (perhaps blood) running from under OEJ’s head. A throwback to some of Gould’s gorier days!
This is the only thing redeemable about today’s strip!
“Take over Liuetenant…” Really! Tracy looks like he’s regressed back to the 50’s with a flattop haircut! And what’s up with the black shirt??? CONTINUITY!!!
I love how Tracy only thinks about BO and Gertie when the King mentions customers… It’s like he forgot that BO was the whole reason he came here in the first place!
So now the cops reappear, as if nobody moves until Tracy says “take over Lieutenant”. (Probably the same cop whose gun was handily removed by OEJ. ) Presumably, the KOC is clean and can now be handed over to someone less competent than Tracy. Hmm. Wonder if anything like this happened in the OJ case?

Tracy forgot that the Lt. is on his “own” time, working security and to make matters worse, he is “on break”. The Lt. replies, “Shove it, Flatfoot.”
Wasn’t he a Sergeant a few weeks back?

I guess the meanderings of this story line have left me in the dust. Beyond ” to get there, leave from here.”

What murder, KoC only shot to wound while helping police–but, being not-great shot the bullet proved fatal to OEJ!

If only more owners believed that managers trying to kill their customers was wrong…

I thought the King saved Tracys life, didnt really see an actual murder.

Now we are going to be treated to three weeks of “trapping” puns. Wow!
Gertie will open with a statement to BO that she needs to go “run her traps”. And then, let the puns begin!
