I am assuming that Mr. Levitz is also the prime suspect for the murder of Emma Parks. I would guess that since he was the one looking for a Ponytail look-alike at the bus station, Double Up fingered him for the murder.Having Mr. Levitz “disappear” would make him look guilty, as well as remove any inconvenient witnesses.
Hey, margueritem! That river is just a few blocks from where I am. But the only body-dump that comes to mind (Mom and Dad saw it, years back, when on their way to pick me up at O’Hare) was in the Forest Preserve near the river…. I can’t believe that the judge simply bought Kleen’s story without even hearing from the prosecution!
Huh. I thought the other whip-wielder would be in court to ID Double-Up in the assault on the detective. The DA’s office must have brought a very thin case.
In honor of the one year anniversary of Team Tracy’s work on the strip (3/14), I’ve assembled a list of all of the great characters they’ve revived from years past. .These are the characters (or devices) that hadn’t been seen in the strip for at least a year and in most cases, many, many years. What a great gift they’ve given Tracy fans! If I missed any, let me know..Dick Tracy returning characters
Thanks to Mdstudio for the list of returning characters and devices. It reminded us that this strip is again about action, friends, family and great adventures.
Now that Doubleup is back in the picture, here’s a bit of trivia for you Tracy fans. Kerry Drake was a detective strip from NEA created to be an answer to Tracy. Drake had his own rogue’s gallery as well. EBay featured some strips from January 1958 featuring a character called “Ditto” Wyse. His interesting characteristic was that he tended to repeat himself . . . repeat himself. Looks like Alfred Andiola had the concept years before Mr. Curtis. Sorry, Mike, but it’s still a great idea.
If the People have a strong enough case they can go on without a witness. I don’t see anybody from the DA’s office protesting. This looks like a Grand jury hearing, not the trial, so witness’s need not be present. This judge needs to be reminded of that.
You tell me why the back of my head is FLAT. I’m missing a little off the top!.This guy over my left shoulder is clearly the devil. Blah, Blah, Blah,* DISMISS ALL CHARGES.*.Hey, I now have NO neck! No one leaves the court!.Don’t pat me, Pete!

Except for the eyes, the counselor looks like Daddy Warbucks (Annie, where are you?).

Looks like Mr. Kleen’s suit has soiled a tad since yesterday….Comics Kingdom kept it sparkling white.

Hm… why do I have a feeling that Mr. Kleen’s germophobia will be his downfall later on? If not his, then Crime Inc.?
I cannot wait to see what Crime Inc has in store for the MCS.
