Several mini dynamics, peripheral to the main event, are seen to be “happening”, taking place elsewhere, but disturbingly there’s still been no contact, no official complaint made to the Police ! ?

Yes! Petty theft from a home vault, stolen research spectacles seem to be getting keen, ‘top of the line’ attention ?

Yet no police investigators at the ‘scene’ (the Bank) to secure possible clues or leads ?Given earlier (Apparatus) ’display’s a discarded cigarette or packaging might remain unrecovered ?

Seems a very “UNUSSUAL” lack of Investigative Oversight ! ?

Incurring the wrath of The Apparatuscan be dangerous to one’s health!

Spicy " Big Dreams"

Yesterday Spicy talks about the story of goose who laid golden eggs. Today we find that she did not understand the moral of the story, which is not to get greedy. did she not read the story all the way to the end?

Spicy looks even more like a ketchup bottle today, I think.

This isn’t going to end well…

I don’t know what Spicy has in mind, but Specs will regret it.

“X-Ray” should be in quotes, I think – Xavier Raymond “X-Ray” Specs.

You will notice that I don’t have that much knowledge of the strip.

Despite the fact that I write a lot of comments here, I don’t have much knowledge of the strip either, but I’m good at looking things up. I appreciate all the people who really are knowledgeable. The interaction is what makes this a good hobby.

Spicy Golden Goose is heading for trouble within the Apparatus, and she may drag Specs down with her Or, he may shed her and and survive any purge from the Ace of Spades….

Stipple, I try as far as possible to carve out my own line of commentary here (and on the other comics where I comment). That is not always possible, depending on what opportunities the day’s strip seems to allow. But, the relevant point is that you don’t have be part of or to put off by any collective thinking or cliquishness you perceive. Just comment as you wish; say your piece, whether it draws any response or not. And do it daily. Soon you will seem like a regular (because by then you are), regardless of what responses you do or don’t get….
