Will the Ampersonator’s name turn out to be be Morningstar? Natas? Will anyone remember to pull Brush’s mask off before the next story begins? Will the real Perenelle turn up?
We’re off to find out the explanation for all this. A few days of explaining and then we just need to find out if the Spirit has free time for Bonnie or Mysta before he returns to Central City.
CBR.com published a new blog entry yesterday with a great interview with Mike and Joe about the Spirit story and how it came to be and what it was like writing and drawing it. There’s also some news about what Joe will be doing while Shelley takes over the drawing duties for the next story. Check it out:
I’m still wondering if perhaps Ramon actually had benefited from the Flammel Formula, and was much older than he appeared. [ Even if that were true, it wouldn’t have warded off a lightning strike any more than it would have spared Perenelle from strangulation.
He’d said something to Tracy along the lines of having no children, but might he in actuality have outlived any children he might have had?
And what exactly is the connection between Ramon and the False Am?
If you want to view the comics page the way it was before the latest update. then there is a way if you are using Neil Wick’s bookmarklets (http://worldofdt.info/gchelp.html). This applies to all strips here at GoComics. Here’s how:
1. If you are not going to this strip using the link http://www.gocomics.com/dicktracy?comments=visible then click on the blue comments icon you see next to the day’s strip. You will see the narrow comments column.
2. Click on Neil’s Replies bookmarklet and see the comments column expand. So that’s how you spread the column.
Note that if you are also using the Links bookmarklet, the column will compress again to a narrow comment column. So if you prefer the wider comment column, do not click on the Links bookmarklet. I do not know if there is a way to prevent this from happening but Neil is the go to man for this. :)

So, are we technically in the home stretch now?

Therein lies the rub.

Spreading it wide

WOW, what a story!
The best I’ve ever read
Never will I say
This strip puts me to bed
I’ll never complain again
Or have something bad to say
You can take me at my word
Especially on this day

I don’t think Ramon’s singed corpse will be answering any questions soon.

Finished the article and wish Joe and Shelley best on their job shifts.

I fully agree with the Spirit. Whatever explanations Double Am can offer should be good!
And, yeah, whatever did happen to that “backup”?

Sam probably got sidetracked by some all-night donut shop.
