So, Sprocket kind of feels an obligation to look after her younger brother, even if he’s a bit abusive towards her sometimes. That would explain why she’s so clingy lately. She doesn’t want anything bad to happen to him.
Indeed it does. However Silver is an abusive personality and so far Sprocket has not retaliated. Usually when that happens it is final as in kill the abuser.
FYI, the PBS show this weekend and perhaps repeated during this week on the “World Channel” How We Got to Now with Steven Johnson :Sound mentioned Édouard-Léon Scott de Martinville and his phonautograph in the first 5 or 10 minutes which is the basis for the nitrates’ scam may be worth a view.
Fortunately it seems we can put the creepy suggestions regarding their relationship to rest. They appear to just have an extremely close relationship. 22PH is correct.
Actually, I’m privy to a bit of information – not gonna say what till after the fact – only that, when it hits, watch the number of comments skyrocket. XD
Also, thoughts & prayers to anyone in the Tracy community affected by Hurricane Harvey. I lived through Superstorm Sandy nearly 5 years ago now, so I can emphasize with what you’re up against.
Mostly “backgrounder” today, but we do learn that Sprocket is the older of the two adoptees (though she does not look it). This is all going on through Lizz’s narration at MCU HQ. Meanwhile, back at Nitrate’s hideout, what is the outcome of Sprocket’s outburst at Silver for wanting to go on scamming when he had agreed to settle down after this outing for Public Domain? That will be interesting to see….

It’s explicitly stated here that Sprocket is the oldest, so that makes it canon.

Not too often we get an “origin story” for Tracy villains. I think Joe & Mike have big plans for the Sprockets even after this storyline ends.
