If nothing else, it’s an excuse for a return appearance of Flattop Jones Sr!

So this years excuse to do a Flattop Jones appearance. For a character who has been dead since the early 40’s, Flattop gets a lot of appearance. Tracy first meet Vitamin when he became a victim of one of Flattop’s schemes.

Anyway, Candy looks lovely in the second panel!

What, she wants a genetic profile of her child?

I have often wondered the same thing. When I was old enough to start reading Dick Tracy (about 1962) Vitamin was already an restablished character.

If anyone recalls the history of the strip, wasn’t it around the time that readers were introduced to Flattop, and how he was hired by the crime syndicate at that time to eliminate Tracy?
