And the four-leaf clover is for "Good luck to anyone who believes this kind of…. stuff. "And the shield means “Ha!! We’ve got lawyers.”Dale is obviously wearing his personal coat of arms. There’s a spare tire and a loose screw….but I can’t quite make out the third thing.Anybody?

If I were designing a crest for the Pennys it would be a penny, wearing a dunce cap, being pinched by a crab…flanked by hippopotami rampant.Hmmmm…. I thought the happy face was wearing a crown, but as it’s on Burl’s cup, it’s probably a fool’s cap.Meanwhile, Marg that has always been one of my favorite cartoons… so funny!It’s been drawn, stolen and redrawn so many times I can’t find any info on who created it… But I’ve always thought it looked like Brevity strip. Six — maybe so.If you enlarge it enough to really get a better look it just pixelates…

Good morning all! I decided to use my coat of arms (registered in SCA since the Pennys are talking arms today. Mine have a cockatoo, because the one at the court where I am in my play world had one as the favorite in the aviary.

A coat of arms is used to identify friend or foe across a field when distance is too great to see faces. My parasol has alternate fields of the upper and lower parts.

in my college days, i got ceremoniously tossed out of a “jousting” tourney: my shield coat of arms was a replica of the old B&W tv test pattern….

This is a photo from daughter’s wedding ceremony last week in Mexico with her Scottish husband. I’ll keep this for a bit

My arms have a field of stars for fair weather and the cockatoo who is my soulmate with a chevron dividing the fields. I always prefer RWB and gold and dress that way normally.
