What the heck is it that Burl is ‘squeezing to death’? And can anyone give me a hint as to where the Find-It is?

Yeah, just what is that thing? A key case, maybe? Yeppers, ol’ Burl went out and bought hisself some gen-u-wine imitation leather shoes from the TV he did. Never need shining. Plus some steak knives and a collapsible fishing pole.Reminds me of the old Jack Benny skit where he is confronted by the robber with “Your money or your life!” He delays and the robber says, “Didn’t you hear me?” and Benny replies, “I’m thinking!”Good morning to all and good night.

Magnified several times the the thing in Burl’s hand is round, and almost has a face on it. I was thinking it was a coin….maybe even a penny, especially cos he’s wearing a shirt that says a Penny for Your Thoughtfulness, in front of a receptacle for tips and a sign that encourages tipping.But you can’t squeeze blood from a Penny.Meanwhile, Jerry is advertising men’s Candies, and Dales new shoes are size 6 floor samples.Another reference to the effeminacy of our trio?As for the mousehole…does it count if it’s in a moveable object, not a wall? Cos that’s the only place I sort of see one.

I would have guessed that he has a cardboard belt but the laws of Physics preclude that. That trio needs steel reinforcement for whatever is holding up their trousers..I woke up to the sound of Lincoln screaming; so it must be Tip time for Burl.

Is that the mouse hole under Burl’s footrest and in front of the bootblack’s polish caddy?

Too much black to see the mouse hole. I think he’s squeezing a penny and thinking “No tip today” I bet his socks were dirty yesterday to because he isn’t wearing any today.

I can’t find a mouse hole, but I see a silhouette of a shoe on the shoeshine boy’s head.

Burl is embarrassed…… He thought it would be macho to order a shoe shine.… but he failed…..or did he just want to sit down…? ? ?

The mouse hole must be out of view…. behind JERRY…. The mouse is in his bomb shelter…. ! ! !

I thought Dale’s shirt was too small because he’s wearing Charlie Brown’s. All the printed Ts lately are too hard to read with my eyes still closed with sleep- who’s for more contrast beween shirt and printing?

I thought it was one of those stress balls, but in Burl’s case a penny makes more sense.
