Is this another case of the dreaded wrong-way balloon syndrome?

Was that zinger actually supposed to emanate from Burl?

First Baby Book? Is there a second baby book? Is this when we start wearing diapers again and have no teeth or hair? I already have a book for that; it’s called a Medical Record! And talk about infantilizing, a baby book unril you are 48 years old. Sad.I see that Joy is going to try a new brand of sugar. Maybe she’ll find one that’s sweeter, or more likely cheaper. Looks like she’s saving money again by cutting back on flowers for Caroline. \But she could just go by the cemetery and pick up the freshest of what’s left, that’s what Jerry does.

Verl’s mug appears to say “RCEE Rocks.”Huh?

Why the sour grapes, Burl? Surely you don’t envy Jerry cos you married the older sister?

I mean, they’re equally… um… well… equally…hmmm… you know, I could honestly say they’re equally attractive…I mean, zero does equal zero doesn’t it?

Meanwhile, Ma kept her pwecious widdew Verla’s baby book till she was forty-eight … and these morons are wondering why she stopped ???

my mom had one baby book and kept the stats for all 4 of us in that one book. I have the book now and it is interesting to read. I had a baby book for my oldest and recorded stats for all 3 of my children, why do we do that??? Is not the second and third child as important as the first? Guess not because there are not as many photos of the second and third either. lol

Certainly looks like a wrong way balloon again. How can this happen?

1. “Beginning of the end book of memories”? Cold.2. “First ‘C’”? Huh?3. “First corn on big toe”……nothing for bunnions?

These people could be on a stupid reality like baby pxx pxx or I am a redneck look at me do stupid stuff. or I am from jersey and I can do stupid stuff too.

Maybe she should just leave the balloon tails off and we can guess who’s saying what. I did not get the RCEE or the “c” either (childbirth?). I started a book for my eldest and realized that I couldn’t keep up for the others. I spent what time I could WITH them instead. I never would have chosen to have them so close together, but it was my duty as a wife . . .

I’m gonna guess ‘c’ cup. Probably about age 8’

First Big Mac was right before the C, so Scarlet is probably right. Nothing that I wrote ealier is still around either. The baby book went by the wayside anyway, I know I was too busy if it hadn’t. If I had saved anything it would be the baptismal dress they all wore because (like my wedding veil) it was all sewn by hand.

My oldest boy’s baby book was full when he started school. Second boy’s book was full when he finished sixth grade. Third son’s ( now 52) still has some room in it.

Balloon work is pretty careless.

She finally ran out of firsts….well until the day she dies.

I thought the "c’ was a grade in school, but it could mean something sinister, (drugs, shhhh) nah they wouldn’t spend money on something that didn’t go down their throats! I too had baby books, a lot in the first and 3 pages in the second. Also hundreds of pics of the first and waaay less of the second, And the second usually in company with the first!. Now they are grown and it doesn’t matter any more! So Verl fell out of her crib, no doubt on her head, that explains a lot!

And the finials are still missing. Did they send them out for sharpening?

I think first “C” is first grade above a “D” or “F.” Quite an accomplishment. Probably sometime in her senior year.
