History Channel has been running UFO stuff all day today/yesterday (Tuesday into Wednesday morning), starting at 0700 with UFO Files, then Ancient Aliens in the afternoon, and all night they’re doing Hangar 1. Strange coincidence with today’s panel, especially considering most comic strips are done weeks in advance. Must be those aliens! Conspiracy, I tells yer!

2Old… hey, 10 is way too early to know that a girl already at a normal adult height will be tall…

    I reached 5’4" at 10!

I could wear my Mom’s size 7 shoes.I remember well, cos my Mom and my favorite teacher were both 5’4", and I caught up to them that year.

It’s written on a picture taken on my 12th birthday that I was 5’6….I was the tallest girl in my class…. everybody said I’d be a giant…

but I never grew another quarter of an inch, and wore size 7 1/2 shoes most of my life.

When I was in junior high, a girl in my brother’s 6th grade class was measured at six feet. Now in that case, you can be pretty sure she grew up to be tall.

Yeah, the dying alien told him the name on a grave where all that Civil War loot is buried, and they only knew the name of the cemetery, so they were dissed at Burl;s Unkie for not telling HIS 1/2 of the complete location to the riches, and they…….!!!??!!!….wait,that was The Good, The Bad and The Pennys, errr, Ugly!!!

All my grandkids are taller than I, except for the youngest (and he’ll be 12 in June – so I suppose that’s gone now too).

But then, I was never 5’4 (used to claim 5’2, because of the song, but even stretching could really only be 5’1, and now 5’). I just got back from our square dance and the guys DO comment about how little I am.

I had a neighbor who was on TV a couple of years ago for a program about UFOs (or people who claimed to have seen them). I only found out about it because it was directly across the street and they had trucks and TV crew. Naturally I would have preferred it was something interesting like House Crashers or other on HGTV.
