I’ll tell you what, if someone were to say that to me……well, I’m afraid their teeth would be a bit loose. Don’t malign my grandchildren. Ever. And the whole family knows who the youngest looks like, she is a dead ringer for ME! With my personality! My revenge for her Dad rolling his eyes at me when he was a teenager!
My sweet old granny, who used to change clothes in the closet so pawpaw wouldn’t see her dishabille would giggle and tell the story of the iceman. Lady of the house, like Hyacinth Bucket, calls out the window to the iceman, “Do you have the time?” He responds, “Yes, Ma’am, but I don’t have anyone to hold the horses.” More giggles.
Milkmen are a dying breed. Maybe he should to for becoming a great pool boy one day. Or maybe a tennis instructor.
(And that babble he’s doing is not just baby talk. He’s realized he’s in Crustwood, and he’s begging, “Abort me! Please! It’s not too late.”)
…….or: God forbid!! Just like Burl AND, off not too far in the future, get his own “Joy” to sit in a future “What Smells” recliner wolfing down future Ding-Dongs & Ho-Ho’s all day long!!
