Like the party where Verla cries her eyes out over her sister’s oh-so-funny “joke”?

Marlene will celebrate by waiting in vain for Joy to say “April Fool” after giving back the bread.

Burl’s t-shirt would be an even more tasteless joke in 2021… then again… Burl himself is always a tasteless joke.

He’ll think it’s an even bigger “prank” when the doctor invites him back for a few further tests….

and I do mean “further.”

The X is easy to spot…. much harder to find on this page is any kindness.

Before I spend a whole lot of valuable time looking for the X, I gotta know if there is a prize involved.

These people do manage to get out and party often, travel, spend time together as a group. They have an awful lot of fun for such stupid, awful, rude people. I guess they each found the only other people who could spend time with them. Mostly family.

Burl hasn’t yet realized that Dr. Harris inserted 3 glycerine tablet just s before he finished the exam…!

These clueless folks probably think that “Thin Mints” will make them thin.

Burl’s so “tight” with a dollar that it’s a wonder that the doctor didn’t break his finger!

I’ve never heard of friendship bread. With Friendship Cake you put the liquids and canned fruit in a tight sealing bowl to ‘marinate’. Then you give a cup or two to a friend to use as starter who then gets there marinating done and passing on some of the starter mix. This goes on and on in a chain.

The only thin thing in that house is the Thin Mints…
