When the attorneys ask if there is anyone in the courtroom you’re prejudiced against, just answer ‘all attorneys’ and you’ll be excused.

Ah, the justice system. Where your fate is decided by 12 people too stupid to get out of jury duty!

Burl probably looks at his self in the mirror and knows he took the last donut before Joy had a chance to snatch it away…

Item 1 on the TO DO list. Wow. What class!

Likely the only way he would be on the jury is if the two sides ran out of challenges and he was the next one left. I have had about 12 jury voir dire summons and there have always been 30+ on the jury panel and you are seated 1-30 and each attorney can strike about 6 people. Most cases are civil which can last longer than criminal.

You know, I hate to say it, but there are a lot of Burls out there on jury duty.

I’m willing to serve on a jury if I have transportation and if they can deal with a four wheel walker (on a good day) or a wheelchair ( on a bad day). The last 2 jury calls said no thanks.

My Asian wife was excused from jury duty because she honestly told the defense attorney the state wouldn’t be trying his client unless they were guilty.

I would rather plead guilty to a crime I did not commit than have one of these morons on by jury.
