I’ve met a couple people who are from Georgia, but it seems like the most they have to say about Georgia is all the good food…and how much warmer it is there than my native Idaho.
Welcome to Georgia, Brian! Come on in and set a spell. Let me get you a co’cola. You want some good southern cooking, I’ve got the places for you. And as far as fried okra goes — just stay right here, I’ll make some for you. Then you can climb Stone Mountain, ride the beltline or the Silver Comet trail, go on any number of hikes in our state parks, go to the top of Brasstown Bald, or visit the “Little White House” in Warm Springs. Just make sure you don’t spend all your time in and around Atlanta. You’ll miss some great things in the rest of the state.
