Sophie: “The ones on this couch aren’t soft enough?”

We had blankets on all of the sofas for the dogs. Still do- plus the beds.

Then, I thought I would be smart like my friend. She bought leather furniture and only has to give it a quick wipe after the dogs have been on it.

Brilliant, Thought I. Absolutely brilliant.

Except for one teeny tiny problem. The dogs hate it and refuse to get up on it.

SO, the 10 month old brand new, VERY expensive leather sectional is for sale, so I can buy a proper fabric covered sofa that the boys will like. Hopefully…..

So cute!

Every dog I ever bought a dog bed for, would not sleep on it. Always on the cold, hard tile floor.

Dog logic. It’s not what the intended use is, it’s what’s available at the time. Plus biscuits.

Soooo glad that Annie has a blanket (whether it’s hers or to share). She is so cute I could just squeeze her! And she’s becoming more comfortable in her new forever home. Thanks, Brian

Fortunately, our bed is too high for Blazer to reach. He had a dog bed and uses it when the cat allows him to do so, but he’s never gotten on the sofa. A couple of times, he’s hopped into Poppa’s recliner, but Poppa takes a very dim view of that sort of thing.

We have “human blankets” and “dog blankets” in our house . . . in theory.

I just love sweet little Annie! I’m so glad she found her forever home with Doug and Sophie!!!

My boy loves my my pillow – if I’m laying on the carpet he’ll come over and push my head off with his!
