I’ve heard of cats sleeping next to their owners or rubbing on them to wake them up. Not my cat, she sleeps on the floor and meows at my door to wake me.

Two food bowls for 4 cats and we try to keep enough in them at all times so this does not happen

As long as they have food and water, the cats are content to snuggle up and sleep as long as we do

Look at that face on Annie! Echo (my old silver tabby) would lick my eyelids or the back of my neck to wake me up for his breakfast. Miss that boy.

My dog licked my face to wake me up once. Only once. We both learned a lesson there.

You haven’t lived until you’ve awakened to a cold nose in the armpit!

My Lab Carmy never sleeps in my bed (she has three of her own) And never wakes me up. I had to keep throwing her off my couch, in my man cave, until she finally got the idea. I knew I had success. We were at my wife’s daughter’s house and her two dogs were chasing each other around the room with Carmy. Her dogs were off and on every piece of furniture and Carmy did not even try to jump with them.
