Maybe it’s a pittie thing. My Cain sounds the same way when he eats. Used to irritate Emily, my springer spaniel, to no end. She would stop eating and just stare at him like she was saying, ’ Can you not?’

We have a shepherd bull mix, 100# and 100% clumsy but she eats in stealth mode. She’s like a silent vacuum. Our older pug, he is a messy sound machine. She waits for him to finish eating so she can lick the smell out of his bowl. Dinner time comes with a show!

LOL enjoy it Annie. I’ve had quiet dainty eaters, but I’ve also had the chompers and snarfing dogs also!

Well, it’s all still getting into her belly, so…it must be true on SOME level…

My 10 month old Corgi eats like that, my 5 yr old Yorkie princess has always daintily nibbled. Until she noticed that Jazz having scarfed her food down was now regularly eyeballing HER dish. Surprise! Guess who can scarf (and snarl) as loudly as the next dog?
