It took a lot of liver treats, but all our dogs would hop right in the tub on command. And “shake” behind a closed shower curtain would cut drying time down immensely.
Lol! that is our Bogey, right there! He turns into a three old old child at the grocery store and becomes very, very heavy and won’t move.
Not for baths though, he gets into the shower like a good boy. But if he does not want to go somewhere, nobody can make him. He is 95 pounds of stubborn lol!
I used to have a big doberman named Hilde. She hated her baths but was very obedient. I would tell her to get into the bath tub and she would reluctantly do so. Then would sit there, looking absolutely miserable. She would lift her feet, turn around, doing everything she was told to do, but basically wouldn’t come back to life until I dried her off and let her out of the bathroom.
