My three Siberian Huskies, two silver and one regular, deal wilt the summer heat in different ways – the two pure-bred silvers vacillate between “sun-bathing” on the outdoor carpet in their back yard and laying directly over a floor AC vent or on the kitchen ceramic tiles.
The third dog, a black & white regular huskie mix, simply refuses to leave the house except to do her “business” until after dark.
When I go out to “pick up” the back yard, she’ll stick her head out the dog door to verify that the world’s still there and then back in she goes – summer holds NO attraction for her (and I agree whole heartedly!)
