Bush classified his papers. What’s left to go in the library?

$300 million for a library with one book: “My Pet Goat”.

One book? There’s gonna be a whole section devoted to coloring books and a video room that has special daily showings of “Monster Inc”

At +4: Can we really count some of those as seperate administrations? Nixon and Ford, for instance? Should we count the Cheney administration? All joking aside, you have a point, it should be 8, not 7.

At Radical Knight: I think Bush was more of a ‘Finding Nemo’ kind of guy. His favorite charactor? Dori. “Just keep swimming, just keep swimming”

Would you be saying the same thing about Gore or Kerry if they had won? After all Bush’s GPA at Yale was higher than Gore’s at Harvard and virtually identical with Kerry’s at Yale. “W” was a puppet just like all the presidents since the creation of the federal reserve. Sadly, it will continue to be so.

I’m sure the Bush library will have the entire collection of books from George’s lookalike brother, Alfred E. Newman.

It will probably have Mrs Bush’s memoir in it when it’s published. Letterman says it will be called “I’m With Stupid”.

Nah, there’ll be books… but they’ll be upside-down.

On the comic strip of Doonesbury, Rev said, “the Bush Library! What serious institution of higher elarning gets behind a $300 million progaganda shrine!” $300 million dollars for the Bush Library?! What’s a joke!

Maybe the library will contain some papers and info on the advances the Bush administration made against AIDS and HIV in Africa. Or doesn’t that count with you far left liberal wing nuts?

Dee, a couple of things…

1) A broken clock is right twice a day. However, the AIDS advancements you speak of were horribly impeded by an administration too far into the pockets of the Religious Right to allow a saner approach to things like condom usage.

2) Insulting people in the name of a discussion really, truly does not work. I realize your rhetorical style was likely developed by listening to Rush Limbaugh, but some of us do prefer to not be called names.

Like they said on 60 minutes once, “If it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, and looks like a duck, well, then it must be a duck!”

And I stopped listening to Rush when he stone walled on the drug charges (what a let down for conservatives that was) - don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.

…it takes the same sort of mind to sustain focus on 43 as it does to keep one’s thoughts on Paris Hilton. Why not mix it up once in a while, just to break up the monotony?

Desultory Phillipic, how do we know that Dubya wasn’t just better at copying homework and cheating on tests than Kerry and Gore were? Maybe it’s different in other majors, but I can tell you that engineering homework is usually a collective effort…

Zonker is obviously maturing… expecting to be remembered for his Krispie Treats, instead of for beating George Hamilton in a tanning competition? How the mighty have fallen.
