B.D.: This can't possibly be right... SAM! Sam! There are 17,000 texts on our pohne bill! 17,000! Sam: 17,000? Oh, my God, Dad, seriously, that's all? B.D.: What do you mean, that's all? Sam: Dad, all the popular girls exchange at least 30,000 texts a month! I can't believe this... I'm just a Nancy Nobody! Everyone hates me! Thanks for the reality check, Dad! B.D.: Oh... sorry, honey. I didn't know. Sam: That was close. Boopsie: Next time I'm busting you. Go do your homework.
Doing the math: Assuming a 30-days month and a 16-hours day (Sam, the growing girl she is, needs her hours of sleep, plus some time for other functions,) to do 17,000 texts Sam would have to average sending a text every two minutes, non-stop. I would think she would have to take a break occasionally just to recharge the texting devise she’s using.`17,000 texts a month – I really don’t think anyone has that much of worth to say.
