‘Rerun the same old stuff over and over and hope the masses don’t notice.’.Unlike the cons, who are rabidly pro-war under bush, peaceniks when Obama is PresidentPro-mandate when republicans push it, anti- when Obama supports it.Etc, etc – flip-floppers, but that’s good, NOW.
I liked today’s strip the first time it ran, and like it now. Garry is 65 now (traditional retirement age), and as far as I’m concerned, can do anything he darn well pleases. I still think he’s the best comic-strip writer, bar none.
Sometimes if you want to see why you don’t do something a certain way, you should try doing it that way and see if the result is acceptable.-This illustrates why it would not be acceptable.-GOOD JOB, GARY. WE LOVE YOU
Along the lines of today’s strip, why do websites insist on putting non-hideable bars of buttons (for facetube likes, links, advercrap, and other useless stuff) in a horizontal format at the top and bottom of the page… at a time when computer screens are getting wider and wider, not taller and taller? It’s as if they really care more about the useless stuff than they do about the content of the page.
Oh, right, they do—their use of the generic word “content” to describe the stuff we came to the page for in the first place pretty much gives that away.
Hey, do you know what we have done as a country in the last week or so. You and me sister Suzie and uncle Ralph. We, as one people, have gotten the point across that we are tired of war, that we do not want to bomb Syria and we feel that the money spent over there would be better spent at home. This has been done by people of all political stripes or spots. This has been done because the people of this country Came Together in unity and DID something. Please, all of you go here and celebrate the oneness we have achieved this one time.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fK92hdp6u18

GT is taking his cues from the liberals. Rerun the same old stuff over and over and hope the masses don’t notice.

Arthur Conan Doyle and Sherlock Holmes, what do you “owe” your readers? You get a life and you have to decide how to live it, esp. as you get older.

Hi, Sarge, I wish I could say it’s good to see you, too, but it isn’t. At least calimaghazi drops his turds and leaves.

Hardly just the Hallmark Channel. TBS & TNT do it too. I know there are others as well, whose names are escaping me.

Or non-Presidents like bush who got thousands of troops killed and injured so he could play toy soldiers with the real thing?
