It’s absolutely clear from the bible that slavery, chattel slavery, was perfectly alright with god. The real offenses were things like bacon-cheeseburgers. Wouldn’t you think one of the commandments would have been about slavery? Or child abuse? Or genocide? Or texting while driving?
