Somethingâs not right â Zonk is talking about sleeping through the elections. Since he mentions âthe presidentâ one assumes it is the Presidential elections. But if this strip is from 1984, does that mean that Zonker overslept the elections by 2 years?

This âtoon looks like Zonker was going to vote for Reagan. Is that possible? I wasnât reading back then, and these jumps in time never seem to start at the beginning of an arc, so I really donât know. Anyone?
