How did these complete opposites ever get together?

This was my all-time favourite strip! At least there WAS a crafts fair. A friend visited to go to Sedona for it; we walked outside at night and I pointed out Jupiter. “That’s JUPITER?” She had been running her life on astrology for many years, but never even seen the planets.

New Agers, especially American ones, tend to have an atrophied sense of the ridiculous. One of the best things I’ve ever seen was a documentary about two New Age American sex therapists who were trying to get their patients to feel more relaxed about sex by they, the therapists, wearing large multicoloured felt hats in the form of human genitalia, and then mating their hats by banging their foreheads together.

I think it rained – at least at Chaco Canyon.

Hey, it may be a bit too much “crunchy granola” for some of you old coots, but I say anything that helps one get through the descending spiral of chaos called life without going barking mad is welcome in my book.
