The chicken hawks, oil corporations and “defense” contractors of the military-industrial complex that (Republican) Eisenhower warned us about, who are eager to sacrifice the lives and suffering of our brave heroes (which never include anyone from their own families) on the blood-stained altar of their greedy corporate profiteering.

When she offered the picture and he said to hold the phone, I thought she was showing him BD’s photo on her phone. Then I remembered this is ~1990.
