Since I am 89yo I like music from the 30’s and 40’s I saw Benny Goodman in concert and also Spike Jones live I have Sirius and can listen to the big bands. Absent Friends

We can presume that Uncle Duke is not in this crowd.

Kids study the 70’s in history class now. I would like to sit in on that class. I wonder what the teachers, and the texts say?

In other news, ABBA is reuniting.

Thudpucker still looks like he’s constipated in panel 3, but I think he’s getting close.

This reminds me of my cousin. He was a medic in Vietnam but he wasn’t the same after he got home. He ended up moving to Colorado. I think he made a living as a surveyor but he sang John Denver style music in places where people would come to listen.

I’ve seen a couple photos of myself in the 70’s, droopy mustache and all, with the clothes I wore as a high school teacher. Dear God, let there be no going back.

Somewhere in the pile, I have an actual Jimmy Thudpucker vinyl album. Yes, that’s his name. It’s not very good, if I remember correctly.

We export the worst pop music we can. E. g. bad cover of something that was already loathsome.

BD knows a couple guys who can get Thudpucker some of that Authentic “Rocky Mountain High”.
