I went camping. . .once. . .

For my wife Motel 6 is roughing it.

My friends, siblings and I loved family camping trips in the ‘50s and ’60s. But then we also loved sandlot baseball when it was 90+ degrees and spent most of our time outdoors when we weren’t in school regardless of weather or season. We always wanted to do things instead of watch someone else doing things. It amazes and saddens me that most kids these days would rather watch “Phineas and Ferb” than live like them.

Camping can be a lot of fun, but if you’re not prepared or comfortable doing it, don’t go. Some people are never prepared.

Just one “don’t”, Ralph…… don’t take Honeybunch.

I just don’t think this family is camping material. If you want to make a list, Ralph, list how many ways this could go wrong.

How about “Don’t forget the donuts”.

If this is the start of a new storyline & a bit of foreshadowing, I think Ralph might regret not paying enough attention to the “Don’t” list…
