I notice Wally the Wiener Dog is still wearing his collar in the bath (in this case, no doubt an oversight by Norman). My family had a Dachshund that would get very upset when his collar was removed (or even messed with) because that was the big clue that he was about to get a bath. Has anyone else ever noticed that Dachshunds smell like Fritos?

I like my Doxie’s musk. She just get a damp toweling from me after our outdoor expeditions. Grand daughter bathes the pup once in a while.

My dachshunds love a bath. They get excited when they know they are getting and actually push to be the first one in the doggie sink.

I think my chihuahua used to look for something dead in the grass so he could roll on it!

Only dog that loved a bath was, of course, our dog Alex the Lab
