We Canadians have our feast before the snowstorms arrive. Then we install winter tires and change the oils in our cars to a lighter grade. “Where did I put the ice scraper?”
By Patrick’s question is he implying almost a full year of zombi jack o’lanterns?
Oh well, it could be worse, it could be another year of zombi politicians campaigning.
PSA for those of us in the USA, today is election day, if you have not taken advantage of early / mail in voting, be sure to go out and vote today. It doesn’t matter to me which party you support, but exercising your right to vote is an important part of your American citizenship.
Difference in the two holidays? I don’t know what Canada does (and I don’t care enough to google it) but in the USA our Thanksgiving is centered around the LIE that the pilgrims and the Indians had a big feast and got along famously from that day forward! Just another big lie that we were taught by our teachers who probably didn’t know any better themselves!

During the 1940s, America had 2 different days in November for Thanksgiving…or so I read.
