When we take our dog for a walk, we always take a bag or two, and gloves and tongs to pick up stray garbage. Our walk is half an our there, and half an hour back. No matter what day it is, or what season, people always strew some garbage along the way. The wind might blow in some stuff from other streets. Some days both bags are filled up, on others we collect half a bag.
What bugs me the most is all those cigarette buds. What people should know is that the filter part is wrapped in plastic film and it should be disposed appropriately, not thrown on the street or sidewalk as it ends up being flushed into the sewer and it clogs the waste water system…

Yes: being in fresh air and nature is sooooo much worse for your health than being cooped in a house with recirculated air wearing a face diaper.
