    Interesting wordplay. Mitzi used the correct spelling of complement, meaning improves or goes well with, but the right panel treats it as if it was compliments, i.e. flatters, to make the joke. The nuggets in the pudding is an insult to the palate maybe, but I don’t know what the phrase “insults the pudding” even means.
