I got pulled over one time for doing 80 mph in a 10 mph zone. I was in a shopping center parking lot, back in the days when they were closed on Sundays. There was nobody in that huge lot but me (and the policeman, as it turned out). I was adjusting the 4 side draft carbs on an old (back then, fairly new) Mercedes roadster then testing the adjustment by zipping back and forth across the lot. Luckily, the cop was a car guy, and we talked for 20 or so minutes, and no ticket!
