Here in New Jersey had record high temperature of 80 fahrenheight on Halloween.

I hated when our mother made us wear coats over our costumes when I was a kid.

Actually in the north east… it was a gorgeous day and evening… we just had 2 days of warm weather!

I feel a bit better that it was a rite of passage for many a child.

Had to do this as a kid in northern Maine on Halloween, except it was colder than 40.

It was 40 here last night, and I didn’t see a single kid all night. Last year we had about a hundred. Modern parents are wusses. When I was young, 70 years ago, we’d be making the rounds even if it was snowing.

Idaho has you beat—we were about upper 30s this Halloween. But it was also gloomy and stormy, so it also did wonders for setting the right mood. :D

It is what it is……

As a kid in Western New York our costumes consisted of a Plastic Face held on by elastic. Horse, Lamb, Fireman, Dog. Those lasted until we all had worn each mask once.

The Labans are Philly locals. This year it was 82 degrees on Halloween. I wore shorts and a t-shirt.
