For the benefit of newcomers (welcome!) here’s the pitch: The Endtown mini-comic that I produced for Comicpalooza 2011 is now available to YOU for the offensively low price of $2.50 (price includes s&h, international add $1 for each copy ordered ). Besides sporting a snazzy full color cover (http://tinyurl.com/3uytdhy), it contains an all-new 22 page story that is available nowhere else. And just because I feel like doing it, I’ll sign and personalize (if desired) each and every copy I mail out. Simply pay via PayPal using my email address, aaronneathery@gmail.com, and be sure to include your mailing address. If you can’t pay with PayPal, email me for my snailmail. And, just so you know, I’m completely open to donations. The cat and mouse that live in my head will thank you. :-)
I can see by Holly’s tail that she’s doing much better herself. Up until it started wrapping itself around Wally it has been rather jagged I believe. Stress from being chased perhaps, or loneliness.
Heads up, dear readers! My friend Curtis Hoffman has set up an excellent page dedicated to Endtown-themed papercraft, complete with (incredibly) a FAQ that contains more information about the strip than I’ve seen anywhere.. http://tsoj.manga.org/endtownThere will be more designs to come as the site develops and grows.. Check it out!!
Are they in Holly’s back yard? They seem to be on lawn furniture and I see a fence with a housetop peeking over. That would mean the “ceiling” is actually the lights in the cavern. Just trying to get my bearings here.
Wally’s donig better, he keeps looking sideways instead of up. Good lad. :)Ron Honeycutt: Sharp eyes!! It’s for details like that we love this series.Love the papercraft files! And so now, new storyline in July.. that means Monday, right? Yay!
Hi Aaron! I only recently discovered Endtown and it has become my favorite comic. I had a question though. Characters like Gustine Greene the rhino lady have regular names, while there are also characters like Prof. Mallard and Jacob Jackrabbit who have names that match their animal appearances. Did these people change their names to fit their new identities?
Endtown needs some nice ceiling fans, and maybe a moon light. Put up some star lights also, or maybe a planetarium projector for moving stars and planets. I know a guy, Christof, who’s had some experience with this sort of thing…
Hey C.B. Without massive A/C units ( the likes of which haven’t been invented yet) respiration alone would make Endtownnasty humid with constant sprinkles. Then you need a massive powerplant, which would need to be fueled (possiblyfusion……Hey it’s a cartoon!) and all remain hidden. Then plumbing and on and on and on and on. On another note(pun intended) remember the complex sugars in BEANS!!
Outstanding!I really loved this story arc…Holly, don’t ever let Wally go.If he goes topside, you go with him. Thanks, Aaron, great strip. I can’t wait to see MORE of the story!
Sorry if I’m commenting very late, work and all. Glad it’s the weekend. Great artwork in the third panel Aaron. Gives a whole new meaning to the term “Cat & Mouse”.
Seems to me an easy solution for the Sudden Day/Night problem is to have lights come on one at a time, first along the eastern side, and slowly creeping over, taking an hour to have all of them lit… but if all lights are controlled by a single switch, that would mean a giant re-wiring project.
Aaron, I just got your Endtown mini-comic in today and it is an absolute delight. I would be happy if it featured any of your many likable characters in it, but it happened to contain my personal favorite.Props to you sir, and thanks for your haste, time, and effort!
@aneathery, I know this may be a shot in the dark, but I’m a newcomer and have just seen the message about the mini-comic for comicpalooza 2011, have any left?

And it is the dawn of a new, artificial day…in every sense of the word, for both Wally and Holly.
