I wonder – is Mallards plan to make the rocket operate as planned but returning dud locational data? As was done with the wartime V1’s, kidding the Germans that they were overshooting so they reset the range… and they then fell short…. Let them find Endtown but AT THE WRONG PLACE. Once they’ve bombed the decoy, they’ll leave the place be…

What puzzles me is why does Flask seem to think Wally is going to succeed in the easy part.

Man, this is just NOT going to go well (not that it’s gone spectacularly so far).

Is there a book out where I can read the 1st. of the story? I read back to a year ago, but would like to start at the 1st page.
