They Can’t Take That Away From Me (Endtown version), by Jenner, based on the song by Gershwin/GershwinFrom Feb. 3, 2012Our story won’t end on a sorrowful note,Though you’re all dead in the dust. The song is ended, but as the songwriter wrote,The melody stays, ‘cause it must. They may take you from me, I’ll miss you every day.But I’ll carry this with me, along the way:The way you draw your catsThe way your fans agreeThe way you laugh at ratsOh, no, they can’t take that away from meThe way you wind your gunThe way you set things freeThe way you shoot to stunNo, no, they can’t take that away from meWe may never, never meet againOn the bumpy Endtown roadBut, I’ll always, always keep the memory of:The way you play your partThe things you help us seeThe way you break my heartNo, no, they can’t take that away from meNo, they can’t take that away from me
Albert,Actually that sort of thing happens all the time with engineers, at least the ones with lousy managers. The manager shows up, drops some insane problem into your lap, then buzzes off. Strangely enough, I can’t wait to get back into this world. To be fair, most of my managers happened to be very good ones.
On the bright side, the opabinia is probably not as dangerous as the formula for self cooling cola that Aaron Marx once gave Albert. “Albert” was cancelled before Aaron could draw that strip but he used it as a guest strip for Narbonic. In this strip, Helen Narbon (blond evil mad scientist) invents a self cooling cola which slowly kills people by lowering their body temperature. Dave (the guy in glasses with the cigarette) sort of takes on an Albert like Hapless guy thing. I have a link to the strip below, which includes Aaron Neathery’s commentary.http://www.webcomicsnation.com/shaenongarrity/narbonic_plus/series.php?view=archive&chapter=22451
As most of you probably know, characters from “Annie” are currently in the Dick Tracy comic, trying to find what happened to her after her strip ended. Today Dick Tracy meets Mr. Am, and I realized that Aaron Marx’s initials are AM.
Here are the voting links. I am trying to think of a way to get Endtown and Doc Rat in the top ten at TopWebComics for the first week of July, to coincide with AnthroCon in Pittsburgh. I don’t know if Aaron is going to Anthrocon this year, what with all his health and wealth challenges, (send him money! Please?), but Jenner will be there, and several industry people will be looking for something, and a high position at TWC may help Aaron and Jenner. So think about how we all can be motivated as much as possible, and bring in new subscribers. Thanks, Vote ENDTOWN Vote Doc Rat Vote Hubris Vote Kevin and Kell Sincerely, JusSayin

Take the opabinia out to a Polish restaurant, turn it loose, see what happens…and pretend you don’t know anything when it does…

If they plant him in the ground, they can grow more of him. Works for hippies.(Young Ones reference.)

We now know that the twenty-second century has water deep enough to scuba dive in. We also know that it’s in Iowa.
