Fire, and apparently gunshots, and wounded. We’ve blundered into the end of a Rambo movie. :-)

LOL! Classic put down by “authority.”

Hmmm, no fire hydrant? Connect to an underground main? A hint that there is more to Endtown than meets the eye…

Velda is so cool headed, she could put the fire out with her hair.

Is that the Rabbit Mayor going into the building in panel 3?

The Mayor’s Envoy has the authority to issue pardons. Cool.

Survivors, so there is someone to talk about it.

The artwork in the third panel is really good. Shows us what Velda is seeing.

Panel 1 showed another car following them, and now you see the (out of focus) lights in the rear-view mirror.

And she must be standing up in the fourth panel. (the car no longer moving)

Chief: “It’s like working with blinders on!”

Velda: “Chief, what you need to know is that there is a female pig named Portia that you really don’t want to be found dead. Now, go out and do this thing.”

Well this was a real call. Probably Walt……his version of interrogation.

That may be Walt, standing to the left in panel 3.

I think Walt took care of butcher and company.

The firemen are the perpetrators. Every time there is a fire, they have planned that the victim will be at a location different than what other authorities expect. They use their administrative privileges to manipulate this information without arousing suspension. They then show up to put the fire out and have some BBQ.

Before this, there was screaming and gunfire. Walt didn’t appear to be carrying a gun. And even enraged, and large, he is not bulletproof.

Are we where we need to be?
