How very symbolic. The great powers carve out their niches, the wealthy gouge out the last of the riches, and then everyone dies in the ditches. The stupid, sorry sons of… in stitches.

A reality where candy was the building block of the universe instead of atoms? Yeah, this must have been a really fringe-y dimension. Just imagine how hard it would be to split a frosting atom and create a delicious, nuclear explosion of destruction.

Six minutes is a reference to the Doomsday Clock. Its now at two minutes as of January 2018 on our earth.

So everything’s being carved up and that snippet of reality is ending. I’m still wondering what Marx needs with that gingerbread man’s head and why he and Wally are there in the first place. Not much point in restoring the gingerbread man if it’s going to be destroyed anyway…

Marx seems to be writing on or decorating the cookie head. Is this significant?

Still no explanation what that blade is.

The Grex world is ending. I don’t see any inhabitants (the Grex?). And something or someone has apparently ripped the head off of the Marx manifestation appropriate for this world-and left it to die with everything else. Now what?

This doesn’t portend well.

“No offense intended”!? Wait a minute, is Marx putting down our favorite (or my favorite, anyway) world!? The world where all the stuff is going on?! Why, I oughtta….

Is Aaron Marx referring to a previous story? In Holly’s flashback, just before the end of the world, there was what seemed to be a fox version of himself (who got killed).

The cat is still grayscale.

Marx and Cat are both greyscaled, and everything else is colorful unreality. Marx has knowledge, but neither power nor will to save this sugar-coated world. Sheesh, apocalyptic Slice-of-life comics can be soooo depressing.
