Okay, I need you all to refresh my memory…

Who is Doctor Amesworth?

Is this “now” in relation to our heroes? Or past? Or sort of both, where the Topsider with Wally and Company just left from the lab’s point of view but has been traveling for weeks from her own point of view at the same time?

Ah, Amesworth, we are about to get some major backstory here.

Well there went the gate she was trying to get back to……..or this gate led to the Eden Beach where Duffy and Chic met the Ghost. That may have been Dr Amesworth…..this Topsider with Wally would have said something about reaching thru before……she maybe looking for him too.

And then? And then??

And then along came Jones…

Stranded! Maybe she just had her ticket punched permanently. I guess she can’t go home again.

Ame, yes. But, is she Amesworthy?

They’re bringing a fire extinguisher to a nuclear meltdown?!

I agree with Erwin — I think we now know “our” Topsider’s name.

There’s the lab where all will be made clear, but it looks as if the door will be shut. Unless there are other anomalies collapsing, the Eden Colony collapse is putting sand in the gears for more than just our stalwart crew. Assuming that is Dr. Amesworth, we’ll find out if that tablet-like device she has suddenly has a “Home” key that goes dark.

When Wally finds out who she is, will he pitch a fit and blame her for the disaster the Amesworth Radiation caused for Earth and civilization?

OK, the pin finally dropped. Someone said Eden Amesworth.

And people have been speculating (not me, but others) that Eden was a topsider project. A place with a secret.

Suppose Eden is where the topsider volunteers who mutated were placed? And any other anthros found wandering about — like Wally, Kirbee, Chic and Irving. A little memory loss to make fitting in better.

A civic government not wanting exploration or expansion, but having to contend with eccentrics like Ravenscroft, and Wally.

And given the effects of another Amesworth discovery, the possibility that this turmoil is solely due to her latest experiment going awry seems possible. Which is why she has to get back to the lab.

Why is the alarm so organic looking? In a lab? Kind of weird that.

where did the other person come from? He wasn’t here, then he was but nobody looks surprised.Is there a page missing? And where did that bulge come from? No one seems surprised at that either.
