Twig says, "Why are you upset over criminal checks for teachers, Nana?" Agatha says, "They're another useless invasion of privacy." Agatha says, "They won't stop the most common school crimes." Twig says, "Like giving too much homework?" Agatha says, "Like teaching bogus science, watered-down history and the improper use of pronouns."
I suppose it depends on the political or religious persuasion of the school district how science and history are taught. Pronouns are a completely different subject.
