My mom’s specialty was molded Waldorf salad, made with lemon Jell-O, mayonnaise, celery, walnuts, apple, pineapple, and mini marshmallows—very 1950’s, but actually delicious … there never were any leftovers.
How about Jello cube shots!
Then a delicious haggis. Now to waylay a sheep.
Jello salad. An American staple from the 40s and 50s.
Garrison Keillor did a lutefisk dinner parody of “Jambalaya” with the line, “For tonight we’re gonna have some cherry Jell-O.”
How about pepper encrusted pork mouseline in aspic, with a pureed mustardseed coulee?
