Obviously a very generalised statement, so doesn’t cover them all, but in my experience, consultancy agency just charge a lot to produce rubbish you don’t actually need. Our company wanted a logo change and hired a consultancy to produce it for them. They charged a small fortune and came up with something that had to be explained to everyone as they didn’t get it. Good value for money then. I suppose it did make it a talking point, so maybe not quite so daft then. The reasoning given for why the logo looked the way it did was daft though
