ANYBODY still uses slide rules? I’ll bet they use carbon paper to make copies.

I was cleaning out some drawers in a seldom used dresser and found a slide rule………hadn’t seen one of those in 40+ years. And I hated carbon paper, changing the ribbon on the typewriter, and that stupid little eraser with the brush on one end.

My husband has a reel to reel tape deck, it needs repair but he has one and several tapes.

HTTP = hyper text transfer protocol. I still have my slide rule, somewhere. Ditched the typewriter and carbon paper a couple of decades ago.

Old fashioned board games are still popular with some people, but I don’t know anyone who still plays solitaire with real playing cards.

If he knows what “http” stands for, he probably has something a bit more “advanced” than a slide rule!
