Why do women always say that? Sit down or lean on something for balance!!! Don’t try it while standing on one leg, trying to get a foot through the leg opening and relatively tying your legs together. Sigh…
I get similar responses when I try to get people to take tai chi (from my favorite instructor, of course.) They beg off because of balance issues, but 1) Tai Chi helps improve balance, and 2) the beginners’ class uses chairs both for stability and for sitting-down exercises.

That’s a balancing act many seniors can relate to.

Didn’t want to picture that. Yoga would help a lot with balancing problems.

I wanted so bad to do yoga when I was younger but I never could bend and stretch like you’re supposed to. I usually wound up hurting myself.

I know that’s supposed to be a joke but hit’s pretty close to home. I have to sit down when I put mine on, or crawl back to something to lift me up.
