…or if he’s that close to land that he can see it, he can swim to land if he was able to get to that island. ;-)

This is such a real life mentallity. “Someone else” is always the first response. Lucky for me, I know how to swim.

Outside of making me angry, it also forced me to kick into thinking mode— based on a height parameter of a minimum five foot tall (about 153cm) to six foot tall (about 183cm) that island is less than 200 yards off shore (go ahead and cheat and call it less than 200 meters off shore)—

The idea of people ignoring those who need help made me angry, the positioning by the artist makes me wonder why no one noticed all of that seven years ago.

This is too sad to be funny. Unfortunately, people have been killed, robbed, raped, etc. while onlookers have done nothing. I sad statement of the human mentality.

A woman with this attitude when she’s on vacation probably has the same attitude when she’s at work, too. I think I actually used to work with her.
