Michael: Where's dad? Elly: At work Michael: Where? Elly: At work Michael: Hmm? Where's dad? Elly: HE WENT TO THAILAND IN A ROWBOAT!! Ring! RRing! Michael: Hello?.. Sorry, my dad isn't home right now... He went to Thailand in a rowboat.
I did something similar with my uncle when I was Michael’s age. I was at my grandparents’ house, he was in the shower, and his then-girlfriend came over. I knocked on the bathroom door and yelled, “Uncle Max! Jen’s here!” He asked, “Does she still look like she swallowed a lemon?”
So I went downstairs and asked her.
