John: Elly, why don't you and Mom take April up to the house and get warm... I'll be there in a minute. Elizabeth: Daddy... John: Hey, Farley! What's the matter, old boy? What's the matter?!! Elizabeth: Daddy... He isn't breathing!!
Dogs live their lives full of joie de vivre, loyalty, and unconditional love! May scenarios such as Farley’s ultimate sacrifice deeply remind humans that there is no such thing as “just a dog”; and that many other animals also have valid feelings and loving connections. Humanity would greatly improve if we learned to stop taking other species for granted and diminishing their impressiveness.
