Michael: Deanna, $5000 was just deposited in our bank account! Deanna: I told my Mom we were having trouble, so she gave us a gift. Don't look at me like that! You borrowed $1000 from your Mom! Michael: But, I'm going to pay it back! I don't want "gifts" from our parents! We can manage. Deanna: No we can't! We have another mouth to feed! Weed: Is supper on? Or is something else burning?
I agree with Mike. Sometimes we need a bit of help, but $5,000 is way too much. And there is a difference between a loan and a gift.
